This web site is not Alexey Dymovsky’s home page nor does it belong to him. In fact, Dymosvky no longer belongs to himself. He belongs to the people who trust him and have faith in our country, the country which we OURSELVES can make a better place to live. Our views do not always match those of Dymovsky but we wholeheartedly second his call to stop keeping silent about what is going on in Russia. The time is well overdue to save our country.
Things cannot change overnight. Our current goal is to provide news coverage for those who fearlessly challenge the regime and its thriving culture of kickbacks and corruption. This project is also aimed at connecting individuals of different backgrounds, political views, and religious faiths, those who think that the future of our country is THEIR business.
At this moment:
Alexey Dymovsky: it's the thirty-seventh day he has been in the Krasnodar prison.
My name is Alexander Simon, I'm the chief editor of the "Evening Yaroslavl" newspaper.
With great interest did I listen to your speech addressing the Federal Convention, especially I was impressed by the first part where you say that corruption problem in Russia cannot be solved simply by plantings. [Note of the translator: the word "planting" which you would use e.g. for "Planting potatoes" is here used in the sense of "jailing"]. I wholeheartedly agree with this, the problem cannot be solved merely by plantings; it's difficult to speak for all of Russia, but if we take Yaroslavl, it's quite a typical Russian city, nothing extraordinary here, and so the main tune in the city orchestra belongs to the crooks. embezzlers and bandits of all kinds; very remarkable uniformity here is that you take any one crook or thief - it will be the member of "United Russia" party.
Government contracts are monstrously and shamelessly embezzled, the road constructors were brought here from Tjumen, and now they toss the asphalt into puddles, the asphalt sinks in the holes and goes to smithereens together with the federal money reduced in half.
