Vadim Karastelev, human rights activist and advocate of Alexey Dymovskiy was arrested

Vadim Karastelev, authorized representative of Alexei Dymovskiy, was arrested 20/02/2010 in Novorossijsk, Russia, for 7 days.

No doubt, his arrest is connected with the meeting, that he was organizing and planning on the 21th of February. The meeting was against corruption in Ministry of Interior of Russia, and more exactly – against illegal activities of police chief of Novorossijsk - Vladimir Chernositov. The meeting would take place near luxurious villa of Vladimir Chernositov and would attract much attention to the cost of this property and illegal incomes of Vladimir Chernositov. If that meeting would be carried out, it is very likely, that Vladimir Chernositov would be displaced from his high post.

So, at Friday, 19th of February, Vadim Karastelev was taken into cutody for “illegal meeting participation and disobedience to police”. Vadim Karastelev rejected such accusation and said, that all that he was doing that day was giving leaflets to bypassers. Vadim: “Local court found me guilty in disobedience to legal demands of police and inflicted penalty of arrest on 7 days.” Also, court found him guilty in illegal meeting organization and gave him fine of 2000 roubles (70 Euro).

It should be noted, that Vadim Karastelev was arrested together with journalist from Ren-TV channel. Team of journalist and Vadim Karastelev were working on report about meeting on 21th of February. Obviously, that report would include sights of Vladimir Chernositov villa and details of it’s cost. As for 21th of February, there is no data about location, health and life of that journalist. All official’s gave no comments.

Alexey Dymovskiy appointed for a psychiatric assesment followint his anti-corruption video addressed to prime minister Vladimir Putin

Investigator Motuzok met today Alexey Dymovskiy kept in Krasnodar prison following his famous anti-corruption video addressed to Prime-Minister Putin. Motuzok ordered to send Dymovskiy for a lenghty complex in-patient psychological-psychiatric assessment in a special unit of a mental hospital, scheduled to last at least for one month.

Investigator Motuzok doubted Dymovskiy`s adequacy based on statements about his faith, expressed wish to have arrest changed to any other type of preventive punishment as as he would have liked to go on pilgrimage and visit holy places.

Dymovskiy's lawers were surprised at a set of questions regarding his mental health structured in a way applicable to mentally ill people. They have not heard a fundamental question required for making this type of decision whether Dymovskiy was suffering from mental illnesses or had a history of mental disorders. Question was added to investigator`s decision at lawyers insistence.

Alexey Dymovskiy's life partner, Olesya gave birth to a healthy baby girl

Today, on February 8th, 2010 Alexey Dymovskiy's life partner, Olesya gave birth to a healthy baby girl, weight 3900g. Both mother and baby are well. Dymovskiy has received happy news about arrival of his so much awaited daughter. Parents Alexey and Olesja will register their marriage in Krasnodar police detention center as soon as Olesja recovers.

NEW SCANDAL IN ELITE UNIT WITHIN MINISTRY OF INTERIOR RF

Letter from SRRD (Special Rapid Repsonce Division) soldier: SRRD is “dying”.

Let me unburden my mind!!! Can’t stand it any more! Revolt is about to happen in of combat division of Specialized Designation Police Detachment !!!

About one year and a half year ago a new officer was appointed in our division. Immediately after that our division was sent for an official trip to the Chechen Republic during which the *gnew*h commander absolutely failed as a leader of special division – panic behavior and inability to making decisions in difficult situations. Besides was revealed his craving for strong drinks which resulted in violent behavior, attacks on division members, manhandling cases, attempts to grab weapon. Military personnel had to twist arms of the fresh-baked *gleader*h and handcuff him to bed. The division doctor pulled him out of booze through medicine droppers, and after that the so-called leader for some time had model behavior, was as quiet as a mouse, apologized to everybody and was a sample of calmness and courtesy.

But the trip was over. Upon return, this so called leader organized a campaign on getting rid of those people who twisted and handcuffed him to bed, and all the members who dared say anything against his will were kicked out of the division. Repeated collective appeals to the Command detachment were not successful. The Command detachment wouldn’t listen!

Several mass media sources announced another criminal case initiated against Dymovskiy, himself and brother Konstantin Minkov are accused of drug dealing. Allegedly he has been under police supervision since spring 2009.

We would like to draw your attention to “unknown sources in Ministry of Interior” referred by mass media in the news. Neither Dymovskiy nor his defense are informed well on initiation of a new criminal case. We consider that it is nothing but attempt to ''hang'' new cases on Mr. Dymovskiy just to coop him up in prison for a long time.

Question we are asking ourselves is how could have A. Dymovskiy obtained this mid 2009 being allegedly suspected of drug dealing?

Only connivance of Dymovskiy`s direct boss Mr. Chernositov V.A who surely would be well informed of suspicion development, could allow promotion. Would it not make sence for investigating authorities to open the same case against Chernositov and unite these two lawsuits into one big case? Why not check on financial situation of these two “military werewolves”?
